Sixth Sense Technology

A generation comes by when young minds find out the use of things in other creative ways. The same thing has been brought upon by Pranav Mistry, an Indian, who has used the neurons in his minds to develop a device which can project a screen on any surface and can be manipulated by revolving your fingers on the air. Pranav used a simple technique of wiring different components used by us in our daily life and made his new creation. This is what we can do if we sought to learn the various needs of the artifact. The Sixth Sense Technology has now enabled us to use computers and stuffs anywhere in a big screen and also use them by the movement of our hands.

Pranav Mistry demonstrated the power of the Sixth Sense Technology in the MIT Media Lab in 2009. He has also given many seminars and intervies explaining about the working of the gadget.

The prototype of the gadget was made by using some simple machines such as projectors, an android smartphone, color markers, sensors, a Sensing Camera and some wires. Pranav has un-boxed the codes for the prototype of Sixth Sense online which can be used by developers and anyone who wishes make his own Sixth Sense device.

It is said the we have gone beyond the limits of our senses and it's the finale. But as we move on to the new generation, we find that there is no limit to human senses. Flexibility, Liability, usability, viability everything is on the go and can never be exhausted.

Developers are the persons who make certain apps and changes in a product before it is released worldwide to the public. Each Developer is given a Developer gadget which is to be developed . Some Professional developers get them for free and some gets them in a very cheap cost.

Then they make applications and games and also modify the gadget to make it even more better. Many developers also work online and suggests ways to other developers on how can it be modified. Many companies tell their developers to gather in one place and share their works there. These may be Forums, A Facebook page, In Twitter or anything else.  These developers are given a specific time until which they can complete their work. This complete product is then is called the Beta version of the product. Then, they supply these beta versions to the general public for the first response.

The Leap Motion developers are a very large community spread throughout the whole world. They connect with each other through emails and share different ideas. I have read many of the great achievements of the developers using the Leap Motion. They have created great apps and games for the AirSpace (Leap Store), where they keep all their fully leap-programmed stuffs.

The Leap's AirSpace has already achieved a lot and is more developing itself so as to give its all round performance when it will be released for the general public all around the globe. And I can proudly say the day when the Leap Motion  will be released will be the day when a new generation of computer technology will start.

How Does The Leap Motion Work?

Leap Motion works in a very basic principle which we all have heard of. IR (Infrared Rays) is the thing which detects the motion of our fingers and lets us control the all the softwares with which we work today. 

The Leap Motion is a USB which when connected to a computer. It detects the system and verify's whether the operating system is Windows 7\8 or not. This is all done by the softwares which come along with Leap Motion Kit. As soon as all the requirements are fulfilled, the Leap Motion starts releasing infrared rays. These infrared rays are limited to a sphere of about diameter 1m from the the Leap Motion device. 

Within this range of 1m (not sure really!!) you can work on your computer without the need of your Mouse and Computer. Those Infrared rays are programmed so well that they can detect each and every movement of your finger and hands. You can pull and push anything. Execute anything by just pushing your finger forward and much more. All you have to do is have some experience with the Leap.

The Leap supports many apps very fluently. The AirSpace (Leap Store) is  being created by the developers. Many apps are being created to be fully supported with the Leap. The developers have been given the Leap Dev gadget  and all the worldwide they are producing great apps for the Leap. It is gonna be a fully great experience with the Leap as you would just gonna work in the air now.

This new technology is gonna blow your mind, as it tends to make you realise your dreams and just push it into the reality. Leap Motion is a gadget which lets you operate your computer either ways - without touching it and without the use of mouse and keyboard. Now you would be thinking how we are gonna control our computer. This new generation gadget lets you control your computer by using your fingers.

Yes this is mindblowing, you can get access to your computer files by moving your fingers here and there. Actually the Leap Motion is a USB - type gadget and when it is plugged into your computer, it emits infrared rays to detect your finger motions. All you have to do is install some softwares and run them whenever you are using the Leap Motion and you are ready to go.

The Leap Motion is compatible with any computer which has Windows 7\8 installed in it. And it can run all sorts of application installed in your computer. All you have to do is learn the finger gestures and have some experience with it. Once you have known how to use it you are definitely gonna like it and play around with it. You could play your favourite games and paint your dream drawing all by yourself. And what's more you could create your own music with it. Play the guitar and piano with just gesturing your fingers infront of your computer.

According to me the Leap Motion has set a big milestone in the development of future technology and the next generation is soon about to come. So brace yourself fo rthe realease of this technology. The official release of this gadget to the common people is fixed on 22nd July and the pre - orders are being taken in the Leap Motion website.
